Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of more suitably discriminating a photographic scene for changes of a photographing conditions such as an angle of view and exposure.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus according to the present invention, comprises: input means of inputting a first image in a first frame of each frame of a moving image and a second image of the frame after the first frame; determination means of determining a plurality of subject regions of an input image; degree calculation means of calculating a scene degree indicating the possibility that the frame is a predetermined photographing scene for each frame on the basis of a feature amount obtained from the input image; and gradation correction amount calculation means of calculating a gradation correction amount for each of the plurality of subject regions obtained by using the scene degree. The degree calculation means calculates the scene degree to the second frame by adding the calculated scene degree to the first frame correspondingly to the change amount of exposure from the first image to the second image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
