Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image storage apparatus in which, when the number of characters in an image is larger than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, characters having less capacity than the image are stored as a substitute for the image.SOLUTION: Accepting means of the image storage apparatus accepts an image from an image processing apparatus. Extracting means extracts characters from the image accepted by the accepting means. When the number of characters of the character extracted by the extraction means is larger than or equal to a predetermined threshold value, storage means accumulates the character as a substitute for the image.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
