Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of taking pictures with high quality while reducing the impact of shake, by setting the reference line of rolling shutter distortion correction appropriately.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus for correcting the image shake due to shake optically, by driving an optical correction unit on the basis of the output from a shake detector, includes an imaging unit where the timing for storing the charges by receiving the light of a subject image focused by an imaging optical system varies line to line, a storage unit for storing an image captured by the imaging unit, a distortion correction amount calculation unit calculating a distortion correction amount for correcting the rolling shutter distortion in an image, generated by the shake while the imaging unit sores the charges, based on the output from the shake detector, and a correction unit for correcting an image stored in the storage unit, on the basis of the distortion correction amount. The distortion correction amount calculation unit calculates the distortion correction amount with reference to a position set on the basis of the position of the optical correction unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
