Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing impurities in aqueous nickel chloride solution capable of enhancing filterability of precipitant.SOLUTION: During generation of a precipitant containing impurities by an oxidation neutralization reaction with adding an oxidant and a neutralizer to an aqueous nickel chloride solution containing impurities, the oxidation neutralization reaction is conducted stepwise by making the aqueous nickel chloride solution flow to a plurality of reaction tanks connected serially, adding chlorine gas to the aqueous nickel chloride solution in a final step reaction tank and adding no neutralizer. As precipitants with a small particle diameter are dissolved, filterability of the precipitant can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
