Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to grasp the cost of a print job with high accuracy even if the user uses roll sheets having different prices depending on the type, width and length of sheets.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus comprises a resource price management part which stores and manages a sheet cost using the type, width, length in the initial state and price of roll sheets as items, and stores and manages an ink cost using the type of ink available for a printer and the price per unit amount for each type as items. The information processing apparatus requests print history information to the printer, specifies the roll sheet used at the time of printing a target print job from the roll sheets managed in the management part on the basis of the print history information in a case of acquiring the print history information, calculates the cost for printing the target print job from the cost per unit area of the specified roll sheet and the consumption amount of the roll sheet and the consumed ink amount indicated by the print history information, performs the calculation for each print job indicated by the print history information, and displays the print jobs and costs in association with each other as a list.
