Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector and an inspection method of the electric connector which allow a user to easily check an electrical conduction state between a ground member and ground terminals while making reliable contact between the ground member and the ground terminals.SOLUTION: An electric connector 1 comprises: a plurality of terminals 30 having two kinds of terminals, namely signal terminals 30S and ground terminals 30G; a holding body 50, made of an insulating material, which holds the plurality of terminals 30 in a row with the signal terminals 30S and the ground terminals 30G provided in a coexisting manner; and a ground member 80 which is held, inside the holding body, by the holding body 50 while making contact with at least two of the ground terminals 30G. The ground member 80 has a detection part 84 which is exposed from the holding body 50 so as to detect an electrical conduction state between the ground terminals 30G and the ground member 80.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
