Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joining method of a turbine blade of a torque converter, a manufacturing method of the torque converter, and the torque converter, capable of coping with small-lot production and reducing problems such as joining failure and distortion in manufacturing.SOLUTION: A first spiral 21, a second spiral 22 and a third spiral 23 are formed while applying laser beam 30 along an outer edge 14a of a turbine blade 14, in each of the spirals, a strip bead 20 is continuously formed by spiral rotation from each spiral start position 21a, 22a, 23a toward an outer periphery several times, and the turbine blade 14 is welded and fixed to a turbine shell 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
