Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by eliminating the necessity of providing a plurality of oil level switches, regarding a level detection device of engine oil for performing multi-value detection to the oil level position of engine oil in an oil storage tank.SOLUTION: A level detection device of engine oil detects an oil level position of engine oil in an oil storage tank storing engine oil in a circulated manner between itself and an engine. The level detection device includes: an oil level switch turned on according to the fact that the oil level position of engine oil reaches a predetermined level; and an oil level estimation unit configured to measure a time from a reference time point with a time point when the engine starts as reference until the oil level switch is turned on, and estimate the oil level position of engine oil on the basis of the measured time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
