PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting part and flash light emitting device that maintains the same degree of an amount of light emission as a case where a xenon discharge tube is used, and is downsized.SOLUTION: In a flash light emitting device 800, a light emitting part 700 has a xenon gas encapsulated in a first front face side concavity part 801BB which is formed by a first front face side frame part 801B of a housing body 801. Further, a multilayer capacitor 100 is housed in a second front face side concavity part 801CC which is formed by a second front face side frame part 801C of the housing body 801, and in a rear face side concavity part 801DD which is formed by a rear face side frame part 801D of the housing body 801, each electronic device is housed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
