Abstract:
PURPOSE:To quickly and uniformly heat a moving material to desired temperatures by inserting into a temperature control coil a test piece equipped with a thermocouple, and controlling the heating temperature of a metal wire through the output of the thermocouple. CONSTITUTION:A spring material 8 is set in a feeder 5 and the dummy material 9 of a temperature control coil 7 is heated to desired temperatures by a controller 4 and when high-frequency output becomes stable feed is started by the switch of an automatic control board 20. The material 8 heated by the coil 3 is passed through a guide 21 and has its end portion sensed by a timing sensor 22 which uses optical fiber and then the material 8 is inserted into a winding claw 23 after a set time elapses and also rotation and cross feed of a drum 24 are started and the material 8 is passed through a cooling speed regulating gas injection mechanism 25 whereby molding of a spring is automatically completed. The control board 20 digitally presets the diameter of the drum, the pitch of winding, the diameter of the material, the number at turns, the speed and timing of winding, and feed speed, thereby enabling a desired spring to be molded automatically.
