Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion battery negative electrode and a lithium ion battery that can suppress exfoliation between negative electrode active materials and at the interface between a negative electrode active material and a negative electrode power collector, thereby enhancing the capacity and the cycle characteristic.SOLUTION: In a lithium ion battery negative electrode used in a lithium ion battery, a negative electrode active layer containing a negative electrode active material which is Si alloy configured by the eutectic structure of Si phase and SiTi phase, and a binder having a three-dimensional structure is formed on a negative electrode power collector.
