Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoist for an elevator and an elevator device, which is configured so that a relative distance between bodies to be braked such as a drum and a disk and a lining is made constant regardless of the magnitude of suspended loads acting on a sheave so as to employ a light-weight brake device and a light-weight hoist enclosure and therefore can be reduced in weight as a whole.SOLUTION: A hoist 104 for an elevator comprises: a hoist enclosure 1: a main shaft 4, one end of which is fixed to the hoist enclosure; a sheave 5, provided rotatably in the main shaft, around which is wound a main rope; and a motor that rotates the sheave. In the sheave is provided a drum 6 or a disc 41 which rotates together with the sheave, and at a free end side of the main shaft, brake devices 7 and 43 that brake the drum or the disc are provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
