Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low shear type concentric biaxial mixer capable of reducing an aqueous binder mixed with a negative electrode active material to a small quantity of addition amount, and capable of also homogeneously and softly agitating, kneading and dispersing by low shear force without degeneration, when manufacturing active material paste, particularly, aqueous negative material paste for an electrode such as a lithium ion secondary battery, by using the aqueous binder metastable to heat.SOLUTION: A low shear frame type blade 6 rotating along a sidewall inner surface and a notch plate large type blade 10 rotating so as to generate a circumferential directional flow are provided on a concentric driving shaft in a tank 2. An inclined paddle type blade 15 for generating an axial directional flow downward is provided above the notch plate large type blade 10. The total flow is generated by rotating the frame type blade 6, the notch plate large type blade 10 and the inclined paddle type blade 15 at a low speed, and the slow axial directional flow is generated toward a lower part from an upper part in the tank, to provide aqueous negative electrode paste of mixing the aqueous binder in the negative electrode active material without degeneration.
