PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method producing 1,1,1-trichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropane (HCFC-233fb) efficiently.SOLUTION: A producing method of HCFC-233fb making a raw material composition containing 1,1-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropane (HCFC-243fa) more than 60 mol% contact with chlorine. To accelerate a chlorination reaction shown in a formula (1), the reaction of the HCFC-243fa and the chlorine is preferable to be performed under light irradiation.SELECTED DRAWING: None
