Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kneader which can provide kneaded material having little uneven viscosity and to provide a method which enables an electrode body to be stably manufactured by using an electrode active substance paste having little variation in viscosity .SOLUTION: A kneader 1 is provided in which a charging port 4 receiving charging of kneading raw material and a discharge port 5 discharging kneaded material made by kneading the kneading raw material are formed, and the kneader 1 comprises a rotary conveyance member 3 which conveys the kneading raw material from the charging port toward the discharge port while kneading the kneading raw material, by the rotary movement of the rotary conveyance member 3 around a shaft thereof. The rotary conveyance member 3 includes a kneading zone 8 for kneading the kneading raw material, a first conveyance zone 6 which is located upstream of the kneading zone 8 and conveys the kneading raw material and a second conveyance zone 7 which is located downstream of the kneading zone 8 and conveys the kneading raw material, and when the same conveyance object is conveyed using the first conveyance zone 6 and the second conveyance zone 7, the conveyance force in the second conveyance zone is smaller. The electrode body is manufactured with the electrode active substance paste which is kneaded by using such a kneader 1 and has stable quality.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
