Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor low in ESR, large in electrostatic capacity and high withstand voltage.SOLUTION: An electrolytic capacitor is manufactured by: performing pretreatment by carrying out at least one operation where a capacitor element is impregnated with an organic solvent solution to be dried, the organic solvent solution containing a cyclic organic compound having at least one hydroxyl group and a solvent having a high boiling point of 150°C or above which are dissolved therein; forming a layer of conductive polymer on the capacitor element by carrying out at least one operation where the capacitor element after having been subjected to the pretreatment is impregnated with a fluid dispersion to be dried, the fluid dispersion being obtained by the oxidation polymerization of thiophene or a derivative thereof using polymer anions as a dopant; and performing post treatment by carrying out at least one operation where the capacitor element after the conductive polymer layer has been formed thereon is impregnated with an organic solvent solution to be dried, the organic solvent solution containing the cyclic organic compound dissolved therein, or by carrying out at least one operation where the capacitor element is impregnated with a solution obtained by dissolving the cyclic organic compound into the solvent having a high-boiling point.
