Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the press load on a body part of a metal element to enhance durability of a metal die and meanwhile, to uniformize plate thickness at each portion of the metal element.SOLUTION: In the method, a first inclined face 30a and a second inclined face 30b of an inclined face 30 of a metal element 23 are molded by pressing a metal element material 23' using a metal die 47, the inclined face extending radially inward and backward from a rocking edge 29 formed so as to match with a front edge of a saddle face 28 of a body part 24 of the metal element. An inclined face corresponding part 30' of the metal element material 23' corresponding to the inclined face 30 of the metal element 23, includes a first inclined face corresponding part 30a' that inclines backward at a first inclined angle θ1 from a rocking edge corresponding part 29', and a second inclined face corresponding part 30b' that inclines backward from a radial inner edge of the first inclined face corresponding part 30a' at a second inclined angle θ2 larger than the first inclined angle θ1. Further, the metal die 47 includes a first inclined face forming part 47c that inclines backward at the first inclined angle θ1 from a rocking edge forming part 47b abutting to the rocking edge corresponding part 29'.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
