Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of more simply manufacturing a permanent magnet.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a permanent magnet 10 embedded in a rotor of a permanent magnet type rotary electric machine comprises the steps of: forming a slit 14 for division in a magnet base material 12; coating the magnet base material 12 in which the slit 14 is formed with an elastic insulating film 16; and dividing only the magnet base material 12 in the insulating film 16 by giving a shock to the magnet base material 12 coated with the insulating film 16 from the outside.
