Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a method for manufacturing a UV light-emitting device, which is superior in productivity, and can offer a good optical member positioning accuracy; a UV light-emitting device which can be reduced in size, and has a simple structure, and is increased in light output; and a device having such a UV light-emitting device.SOLUTION: A UV light light-emitting device 1 comprises: a substrate 10; a semiconductor laminate part 20 formed on the side of a first principal face S1 of the substrate 10; a semiconductor chip 100 having a first electrode part 31 and a second electrode part 32 which are electrically connected with the semiconductor laminate part 20; an optical member 50 having a first plate-like part 51 having an area larger than the first principal face S1 in plan view, and a convex part 53 integrally formed therewith from the same part material on the side of one face S3 of the first plate-like part 51; and an adhesive layer 40 bonding the other face S4 of the first plate-like part 51 to a second principal face S2 of the substrate 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
