Abstract:
The method involves using active filtering of the harmonics through a boost-converter. An inductive load is used as at least a part replacement of an inductance needed for the boost-converter. The load is a motor which is driven through a switching bridge. At least one motor winding is used as the inductance for the boost-converter. The function of the boost-converter is integrated in the switching bridge driving the motor and in the motor, whereby a motor winding is used as an inductance for the boost-converter. The motor winding magnetises in a first phase with a voltage of a condenser (5), in a second phase through an electronic switch for power factor correction and in a third phase the motor winding is demagnetised.
