Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for objectively evaluating a form stability performance of a fiber product for cleaning and dryness with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A method includes: inputting first image data and second image data showing appearances of fiber products before and after cleaning and dryness as images (S1); determining a first simultaneous occurrence feature quantity and a second simultaneous occurrence feature quantity showing features of wrinkles for the images shown by the first image data and the second image data using brightness of each pixel position in the images (S2); determining a difference by subtraction of the corresponding first simultaneous occurrence feature quantity from the second simultaneous occurrence feature quantity (S3); and calculating a numerical index indicating a form stability performance of the fiber product based on the difference using a predetermined conversion expression so that the difference corresponds to a visual determination result for the wrinkles (S4).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
