Title:
METHODS FOR EXPRESSING POLYPEPTIDES USING MODIFIED NUCLEIC ACIDS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2018038408
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for recombinantly producing polypeptides in cells.SOLUTION: The method of the invention comprises the steps of: culturing a cell comprising a nucleic acid encoding a polypeptide; and recovering the polypeptide from the cell or the culture medium, where each of the amino acid residues of the polypeptide is encoded by at least one codon, and different codons encoding the same amino acid residue are combined into one group, each of the codons in one group is defined by a specific usage frequency in the group, the total of the specific usage frequencies of all codons in one group is 100%, and the usage frequency of a codon in the nucleic acid encoding the polypeptide is almost the same as its specific usage frequency in its group.SELECTED DRAWING: None
