Abstract:
Aluminization of metal components incorporating an internal honeycomb structure is carried out using a gaseous precursor incorporating an aluminum compound which is fed, with the aid of a carrier gas at a regulated pressure into contact with the surfaces of the component. The carrier gas is chosen from helium or argon. The aluminization of metal components incorporating an internal honeycomb structure by vapor phase deposition is carried out using a gaseous precursor incorporating an aluminum compound which is fed, with the aid of a carrier gas, into contact with the surfaces of the component arranged in an enclosure (21). The carrier gas is chosen from helium and argon and the pressure in the enclosure is chosen such that the mean free links of the carrier gas molecules may be at least two times greater than those for argon molecules under atmospheric pressure.
