Title:
METHOD FOR REMOVING SOLVENT FROM POLYMER SOLUTION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2017171931
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a solvent from a polymer solution containing at least one elastomeric polymer.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for removing a solvent from a polymer solution, which comprises subjecting a polymer solution 1 to a stripping step with steam 3 in the presence of a dispersant, in which the polymer solution contains at least one laminar material where the amount of the dispersant is 0.005 wt.% to 1 wt.%, preferably 0.008 to 0.8 wt.% based on the total weight of a dried elastomeric polymer, and at least one cationic surfactant of 0.0005 wt.% to 1 wt.%, preferably 0.0008 wt.% to 0.8 wt.% based on the total weight of a dried elastomeric polymer. There is provided a method for removing a solvent from a polymer solution in which the laminar material is smectite, montmorillonite, bentonite, vermiculite, sericite, an aluminate oxide, hydrocalcite or the like, and a mixture thereof, and the laminar material is modified with an alkyl ammonium salt and an alkyl phosphonium salt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
