Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric system comprising a battery monitoring device configured to determine a numeral indicative of a charging state of a battery.SOLUTION: An electric system (2) includes: a battery (26) for storing electric energy; and a battery monitoring device (22) setting an initial numeral indicative of the charging state of the battery (26), repeatedly determining a current operation state of the electric system (2) and a period (T-T) in which the current operation state is active, calculating change of the charging state of the battery (26) as a function of the determined current operation state and period (T-T), in which the current state is active, of the electric system 2, and updating a numeral indicative of the charging state of the battery (26) by adding or subtracting the calculated change of the charging state to or from the numeral.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
