PURPOSE: To obtain the error analyzer of a recording and regeneration system, wherein various recording signals are made to pass through a non-linear path, and the recording signals, regenerated signals corresponding to the recording signals and the state of errors can be compared.
CONSTITUTION: In this system, the data from a CPU 11 can be loaded into a semiconductor memory 10, and the data can be received into the CPU 11 from the memory 10. The recording signal in the memory 10 is outputted into a non-linear path of a recording and regeneration system and the like through a DAC 16. A regeneration signal is received from the system through an ADC 15 and stored into the memory 10. The recording and regenerated signals are correspondingly displayed on a display device with the CPU 11, and the position of an error is also displayed at the same time.
