Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening-closing body control device and a control method thereof, which enable an occupant to release rolling-in of foreign matter while confirming a situation, after driving of a motor is stopped by detecting the rolling-in during an operation of a window glass in an opening direction.SOLUTION: An opening-closing body control device 1 has an opening-closing body 11 driven by an operation of an operation switch 4 and a function of releasing catching when foreign matter is caught in the opening-closing body 11. In the opening-closing body control device, when rolling-in detection means detects the rolling-in of the foreign matter during an opening operation of the opening-closing body 11, control means 3 restricts power supply to driving motor 20 so as to stop an advance of the rolling-in of the foreign matter, and when receiving a driving signal from the operation switch 4 for indicating driving of the opening-closing body 11 to a closing side after restriction of the power supply, supplies power to the driving motor 20 so as to drive the opening-closing body 11 to the closing side in a state where a prescribed operation is restricted, and then releases the restriction or monitors presence/no presence of detection of the rolling-in under a prescribed condition.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
