Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator capable of suppressing a pressure loss of a refrigerant and a local temperature rise of an iron core, a rotary electrical machine including the same, and a method of operating the same.SOLUTION: A wedge has an inclined surface which is in contact with a coolant flow path and inclined radially outwards toward a downstream side in the rotation direction. A radially inner end of a spacer is located radially inward of the radially outer end of the inclined surface of the nearest wedge on the upstream side in the rotational direction with respect to the spacer among the plurality of wedges, and is located radially outward of the radially inner end face of the wedge nearest to the spacer on the downstream side with respect to the spacer among the plurality of wedges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
