Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photocatalytic film which is impermeable to fumigant vapor, has a photocatalytic activity allowing efficient photocatalysis of the fumigant, and can therefore be used in the fumigation field.SOLUTION: There is provided a photocatalytic film including at least one polymer layer 1 including at least one photocatalyst, said polymer layer 1 having a permeability to the vapor of at least one fumigating compound, defined according to the NF T 54-195 standard, of 0.2 g/mhour or more, and also being pervious to ultraviolet radiation capable of activating the photocatalyst, and a method for treating a soil or a cultivatable substrate by fumigation using said photocatalytic film and at least one fumigant. Also provided is the photocatalytic film in which the polymer layer 1 allows a transmittance of the ultraviolet radiation of at least approximately 5%, preferably at least approximately 10%, more preferably at least approximately 20%. Also provided is the photocatalytic film in which the polymer layer 1 comprises at least one polymer A selected from polyolefins and polyesters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
