Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a heat-pipe effect and freezing of a plug-in coupling.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a plug-in coupling for cryogenic lines with a coupling socket (1) and a coupling plug (2), in which the coupling socket (1) and the coupling plug (2) each comprise inner pipe components (3, 8) and outer pipe components (4, 9). The coupling socket (1) and the coupling plug (2) are detachably connected together by flange connections (5, 10) located at their "warm" end. An annular gap between the coupling socket (1) and the coupling plug (2) is sealed by an annular seal at a "cold" end and is sealed, at the "warm" end, by an annular seal (10b) located in a region of flange connection. The coupling socket (1) has, at the "cold" end, a reservoir (6) which is formed by an annular section (6) with a diameter widened in relation to the diameter of the inner pipe component (3) of the coupling socket (1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
