PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polycarbonate resin composition having a good hue and also having minimized die contamination during molding, and an optical component.SOLUTION: A polycarbonate resin composition for optical components comprises, based on polycarbonate resin (A) 100 pts.mass, a poly (2-ethyl) ethylene glycol polymer (B) of more than 1 pts.mass and 4 pts.mass or less, and a phosphorous stabilizer (C) of 0.005-0.5 pts.mass.SELECTED DRAWING: None
