Abstract:
To improve the assembling property of a power transmission device.SOLUTION: A power transmission device has a differential mechanism 5, a differential case 50 that stores the differential mechanism 5, a pinion shaft 44 that is supported by the differential case 50, and a stepped pinion gear 43 that has the pinion shaft 44 as an axis. In the differential case 50, a first case portion 6 pressing in and supporting one end 44a of the pinion shaft 44, and a second case portion 7 supporting the other end 44b of the pinion shaft 44 by a cap bolt Ba are fastened by a bolt B. Therefore, a function of a positioning pin regulating displacement in a circumferential direction about an axis X1 on the pressing-in side is exerted, and the fine adjustment of positions of a bolt hole 67 and an insertion hole 77 is enabled on a non-pressing-in side, thereby improving an assembling property.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
