PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve user's virtual experience.SOLUTION: An information processing method includes the steps of: generating virtual space data defining a virtual space 200 including a virtual camera 300, a right hand object 400R, and a button object 600; specifying a visual field CV of the virtual camera 300 on the basis of a position and an inclination of an HMD 110; displaying a visual field image on the HMD 110 on the basis of the visual field CV of the virtual camera 300 and the virtual space data; and specifying a position of the right hand object 400R on the basis of a position of a controller 320R. When it is determined that a predetermined condition for determining whether a collision area CA of the right hand object 400R intentionally contacts a collision area of the button object 600 is not satisfied, the right hand object 400R does not give a predetermined influence on the button object 600.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
