PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus for suppressing streaky image defects.SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 10 comprises an ejection head 122 for ejecting an aqueous ink, which comprises colorant, polymer particles, water and aqueous organic solvent and has a static surface tension of 22 mN/m or more and 30 mN/m or less and, according to measurement of surface tension, the difference between a dynamic surface tension value after 10 msec and the dynamic surface tension value after 1000 msec of over 2 mN/m and 10 mN/m or less, onto a non-permeable recording medium P in a range of ink droplet volume of less than 10 pl.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
