Abstract:

To provide a straightening device suppressing drift of high temperature gas by including a duct formed of a vertical part formed toward the vertical direction with respect to a top of a cooling tower, and an inclined part inclined at an acute angle and communicated and connected with respect to the vertical part, efficiently exchanging heat between the high temperature gas and cooling water, preventing adhesion and accumulation of dust on the inner wall face of the cooling tower, reducing the frequency of dust removal operation required to be performed periodically in conventional cases to reduce maintenance cost, also reducing a space and size, and in particular, suitably usable for high temperature gas including adherent dust for which a straightening lattice cannot be used.

In the straightening device 1 for the cooling tower for rapidly cooling high temperature gas, the duct 5 serving as a flow passage to make the high temperature gas flow in and formed of the inclined part 7 and the vertical part 6, is communicated and connected with the top of the cooling tower 3 to form a T-shape, and at least two or more of two-fluid nozzles 11 are provided on the inner periphery of the cooling tower 3.
