Abstract:
Provided is a refrigeration cycle device that is capable of preventing a degradation in the efficiency of an expander while maintaining the efficiency of a refrigeration cycle even when using a low-pressure refrigerant such as HFO-1233zd(E). This refrigeration cycle device is provided with: a compressor; a condenser that condenses a refrigerant discharged from the compressor; a sub-cooler which applies a supercooling degree to the refrigerant that has flowed out of the condenser; an expander that depressurizes the refrigerant, which has flowed out of the sub-cooler, into a gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant; a supercooling degree adjustment mechanism that adjusts the supercooling degree of the refrigerant flowing into the expander; a gas-liquid separator that performs gas-liquid separation on the gas-liquid two-phase refrigerant that has flowed out of the expander; an expansion valve that depressurizes the liquid refrigerant gas-liquid separated by the gas-liquid separator; and an evaporator which evaporates the liquid refrigerant that has flowed out of the expansion valve, and in which the refrigerant that has flowed out is suctioned into the compressor.
