Abstract:
To provide a refrigerator capable of suppressing a backflow of cool air while reducing air passage capacity.SOLUTION: A refrigerator includes: an ice making chamber 3 and an upper stage freezing chamber 4 which are at the lower stage of a refrigeration chamber 2; a first switching chamber 5 provided at the lower stage of the ice making chamber 3 and the upper stage freezing chamber 4 and capable of switching from a refrigeration temperature zone to a freezing temperature zone; an evaporator EV1 for cooling the ice making chamber 3, the upper stage freezing chamber 4 and the first switching chamber 5; a return air passage 12d for returning to the evaporator EV1 from the ice making chamber 3 and the upper stage freezing chamber 4; a direct cooling discharge port DP1 and an indirect cooling discharge port DP2 for discharging the cool air from the evaporator EV1 to the first switching chamber 5; a first return port RP1 and a second return port RP2 to which the cool air which has cooled the first switching chamber 5 returns; and a confluence point P for merging the cool air from the first return port RP1 and the second return port RP2 to the return air passage 12d.
