Abstract:
This refrigerator comprises: a storage room that has an opening on the front side and stores a food inside; a storage room door that is provided on the front side so as to be openeable and closable; a door pocket that is provided on the storage-room-side face of the storage room door and houses a food; and a lighting device that is provided on the ceiling surface in the storage room so as to project downward and illuminates the interior of the storage room with light from a light emitting source. The lighting device is disposed at a position that overlaps the door pocket in the front-back direction of the ceiling surface but does not overlap the opening/closing locus of the door pocket in the left-right direction of the ceiling surface.
