PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jig that supports removing a roller for a vertical transport belt conveyor safely and promptly.SOLUTION: A support jig used for loosening a nut 5 and removing a guide roller from a vertical transport part in a vertical transport belt conveyor includes: a shaft part narrower than an inner diameter of the nut 5; a wrench part 31 provided in a distal end of the shaft part, narrower than the inner diameter of the nut 5, and including and gripping a gripped part 29 of the guide roller; and a gripped part 32 provided in a proximal end of the shaft part and having a structure capable of being gripped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
