Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a block device and a method for removing a pipe connection member using the block device in which hydraulic pressures acting on the block device can be uniformly supported even when the block device blocking a branch port under a tight-sealed state is inserted against the branch port while being inclined and further inspection and cleaning of a flange part can be carried out under a state in which a working case is removed from the flange part of an existing fluid pipe.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a block device 10 in which a pipe connecting member connected to a flange part arranged around a branch port of an existing fluid pipe is enclosed by a working case under a tight-sealed state and the branch port from which the pipe connecting member is removed under non-interrupted flow state within the working case. There are provided a block body 11 for blocking the branch port; a tight-seal member 13 for tight sealing the block body 11 and the branch port; and a connector body 12 arranged at the block body 11. The connector body 12 is connected with an existing fluid pipe outside the branch port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
