Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve various problems caused by scales conventionally generated in various kinds of geothermal utilization systems.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for restricting generation of silica scale adhered to a steam turbine,i.e. a scale restricting method for adding either scale inhibitor or its solution in misty state into steam fed into the steam turbine comprising the steps of a] device for taking out geothermal fluid from underground, b] a steam turbine for taking out energy from the geothermal fluid, c] device for returning geothermal fluid to underground, d] device for adding scale inhibitor and water in misty state into the steam fed into the steam turbine, and e] a flow passage arranged between each of the devices.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
