Abstract:
To provide a sealing device which enables improvement of lubricity of a lip tip part.SOLUTION: A sealing device 10 includes an annular first lip 12 which contacts with an outer peripheral surface 7a of a rotary shaft 7 and prevents a lubrication oil L at one axial side from leaking to the other axial side. The first lip 12 has: a lip tip part 20 which makes slide contact with the outer peripheral surface 7a of the shaft 7; and a first inclined surface 21 which is provided at one axial side of the lip tip part 20 and in which an inner diameter becomes larger toward the one axial side. The first inclined surface 21 is provided with grooves 34 which guide the lubrication oil L pressed by air, which flows in a circumferential direction in conjunction with rotation of the shaft 7, to the other axial side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
