Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet stacking device configured to form a sheet bundle, move the bundle in a predetermined direction and place the bundle thereon, which can improve sheet loading and aligning properties.SOLUTION: A sheet stacking device 37 comprises: a processing tray 51; a loading tray 36; a pair of carrying rollers 73 and 74 that can rotate positively and reversely, which carry a sheet in a carrying-out direction from the processing tray to the loading tray and in the reverse direction; a sheet end regulating member 76; and a side aligning member 77. With respect to a sheet bundle SbS which is formed in a second mode, an end part thereof at a downstream side in the carrying-out direction is positioned at an upstream side when an end part at the upstream side in the carrying-put direction thereof is contacted with the sheet end regulating member 76 and the number of sheets of the bundle are set to be small, in comparison with a sheet bundle SbL which is formed in a first mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
