Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a spring pressure by downsizing, decreasing a spring constant, and suppressing a pressure fluctuation.SOLUTION: There is provided a sheet feeding device including: a feed guide for guiding a sheet fed by a conveying roller that rotates with a driving force and a driven roller that rotates following the conveying roller; a pressurizing spring for pressurizing the driven roller toward the conveying roller; a holder provided rotatably around an axial center of the driven roller and receiving a pressurizing force of the pressurizing spring; and a support section for supporting the driven roller in a direction perpendicular to a sheet feeding direction so as to be capable of contacting or separating from the conveying roller. The holder has a facing portion disposed to face the feed guide, in which the facing portion is separated from the feed guide in a state in which the driven roller is in contact with the conveying roller, and when the driven roller moves away from the conveying roller, the facing portion comes into contact with the feed guide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
