Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet transport device capable of preventing occurrence of damage such as folding on a sheet, and an image reading device.SOLUTION: A pick up roller 32 (feeding means) for feeding a sheet which is supported to a document tray (sheet support means) comprises: a roller body 320 (first rotation member) comprising a first outer peripheral face 320a which has a radius R1 (first radius), which is formed into an arc-shape and feeds a sheet, and a second outer peripheral face 320b which has a shorter distance from a center than the radius R1; and a roller 321 (second rotation member) which is arranged coaxially to the roller body 320, and which has a radius R2 (second radius) which is larger than a shortest distance from the second outer peripheral face 320b to the center and shorter than the radius R1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
