Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device capable of feeding a paper sheet more completely, and a printer.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device includes: a cassette which can be inserted into the depth side of the device and can be drawn out to the front side thereof and is loaded with a plurality of paper sheets; an inclined surface for separating the paper sheets with which the cassette is loaded one by one; and a regulation part which can be switched between a regulation position abutting against ends of the paper sheets with which the cassette is loaded, being pushed out to the front side more than the inclined surface, under a state in which the cassette is inserted into the device and a retreat position retreated to the depth side more than the inclined surface. In feeding the paper sheets from the cassette, the regulation part is at the retreat position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
