Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent multi-feeding and prevent conveyance failure of sheets due to reduction in the suction force.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device includes: a sheet storage part which stores sheets; a plurality of conveyor belts which are arranged side by side in the sheet width direction orthogonal to the sheet conveyance direction and suck the sheet stored in the sheet storage part to convey the sheet in the sheet conveyance direction; a suction part which is contained in the conveyor belt and sucks the sheet stored in the sheet storage part so as to stick to the conveyor belt; and a control part which controls the conveyor belt before the sheet is conveyed in the sheet conveyance direction after the sheet is made to stick to the conveyor belt by the suction part and gives the difference in a conveyance amount of the sheets between the plurality of conveyor belts so that the different positions of the sheets in the sheet width direction have the positional difference in the sheet conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
