Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium winding device with a simplified structure, reduced costs, and an improved operability.SOLUTION: The medium winding device includes: a first winding member 14 for winding up a label paper body Pb into a roll; a first drive unit for rotating the first winding member; a second winding member 86 for winding up a residuum Pa into a roll; a second drive unit for rotating the second winding member; and a tension adjustment member 18 which is arranged between the second drive unit and the second winding member, and which when a predetermined load is exerted onto the second winding member, rotates the second drive unit side and the second winding member side relatively to each other, thereby applying a constant tension to the residuum. When the predetermined load is exerted onto the second winding member, the second drive unit side and the second winding member side are rotated relatively to each other, and a constant tension is applied to the residuum, so that the residuum can be wound up to the second winding member in a stabilized state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
