Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device, and an image formation device in which a failure that a sheet feeding roller is rotated in an opposite direction and a sheet pinched between the sheet feeding roller and a separation member goes beyond a placement position in a sheet feeding device for returning, and a failure that the sheet placed inside the sheet feeding device curls, folds, and loosens, are less likely to occur.SOLUTION: A drive mechanism 70 (drive means) which rotates a sheet feeding roller 33 is configured so that the sheet feeding roller 33 can be rotated in an opposite direction as well, and if a load torque that occurs when the sheet feeding roller 33 is rotated in the opposite direction at a specified timing exceeds a specified value, the rotation driving in the opposite direction is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
