Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet material feeding device with a reduced size, which can achieve stable feeding even if the posture of the sheet material has changed as the amount of sheet material decreases.SOLUTION: The sheet material feeding device 40 includes: a housing 41; a cassette 42 configured to internally house sheet materials, and capable of being pulled out of the housing 41 and housed into the housing; a rear-end regulating member 60 provided inside the cassette 42 to regulate a position of an upstream end of the sheet material in a sheet material feeding direction; a rear-end displacing member 61 supported by the rear-end regulating member 60 to swing along the sheet material feeding direction; a sliding member 72 provided in the cassette 42, having an engagement part 72a to be engaged with the rear-end displacing member 61, and configured to slide toward a downstream side in the sheet material feeding direction to displace the rear-end displacing member 61 toward the downstream side in the sheet material feeding direction as the cassette 42 is entered into the housing 41; and a first energizing member 74 configured to energize the sliding member 72 toward an upstream side in the sheet material feeding direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
